The 2025 Gold Coast Women in Business Awards launch event took place on Thursday, 28th August, at the vibrant COHORT space in Southport, located at 16 Nexus Way. Guests gathered in the heart of the city’s Health and Knowledge Precinct to celebrate and officially open nominations for the prestigious awards, which continue to recognise and honour outstanding women across the region. The venue provided a modern, collaborative atmosphere that perfectly complemented the spirit of innovation and leadership showcased by the event.

Themorning was hosted by the ever-engaging Karen Phillips, who brought her signature energy and warmth to the role of MC. Attendees enjoyed insightful presentations from two exceptional guest speakers: Kathy Kruger, representing the Health and Knowledge Precinct, shared her vision for the region’s future and its opportunities for women in leadership, while Dr Laetitia De Villiers captivated the audience with her inspiring journey in medicine and advocacy for women’s advancement in professional sectors.
