It’s time to release your lederhosen-wearing, pretzel-loving, stein-swigging, yodeling inner Bavarian because Oktoberfest is coming to town!
Oktoberfest will be officially launched at Bavarian Bier Cafe –Broadbeach on Saturday, 22 September, and gives you the chance to join in the world’s biggest festival, which first began in Munich in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.
Throughout its six-week long Oktoberfest celebration, Bavarian Bier Cafe will bring the best of Bavaria to you with hearty menu specials, fun and family-friendly events, entertainment, and a range of authentic Oktoberfest biers
imported directly from Munich.

The Fireplace at Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove is pleased to present its first and exceptionally rare Beer Dinner, in partnership with award-winning craft beer Moa Brewery Co. on Friday, 14 September.
Founded in 2003 by Josh Scott, Moa is a unique brewery located in the famous winemaking region of Marlborough, New Zealand. Moa beer is fastidiously handcrafted using traditional approaches and winemaking techniques such as bottle fermentation and conditioning (similar to champagne), and barrel aging.

This winter Palazzo Versace is heating things up for epicureans by hosting three of Victoria’s hottest chefs for a long weekend of gala dinners and a mouth-watering master class. From Friday July 27th to Sunday July 29th, the haute hotel will become a culinary haven, showcasing cuisine from the visiting chef’s award-winning Melbourne and regional restaurants, bringing the renowned dining of the south up to the sunshine state. Palazzo Versace invites guests to celebrate the creative culinary flair of Victoria on the Gold Coast, with a chic accommodation offer matched with an inspiring weekend of gourmet delights amongst the stunning surrounds of the sun and the surf coast.
Scott Pickett of Melbourne’s The Estelle, Mathew Macartney of Eleonore’s Restaurant in the Yarra Valley and Pierre Khodja of the recently reopened Flinders Hotel will serve an enticing four-course gala dinner on Friday and Saturday evening, incorporating their sense of style and flair into their selected dish. The gala dinners will incorporate a topical discussion of the chefs’ insights on Australia’s ever growing food culture. On Sunday, the three chefs will host a ‘Showstopper Cuisine at Home’ Master Class, teaching guests how to create amazing meals in their own kitchens.
