540 SUNDANCER TO MAKE ITS AUSTRALIAN DEBUT AT THE SANCTUARY COVE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2013

SEA RAY’S $1.5 million 540 Sundancer will hit Australian shores for the first time this year at the 25th annual Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).

Imported by Queensland Marine Centre (QMC), the cruiser is set to turn heads when it makes its debut at this year’s Boat Show.

QMC deal principal Andrew Bennett said the team was eagerly awaiting the Australian launch of the 54-foot yacht.

“It’s fantastic to get a boat of this size and grandeur into Australia and to launch it at one of the country’s biggest boat shows,” he said.

“It’s only the third of its kind built in the world and has only just been launched in America, so we’re excited to be bringing it to SCIBS this year.

AUSTRALASIA’S reigning king of superyachts is sure to make waves and lure plenty of interest when it ties up at the 2013 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) in May.

The Horizon P110 Tri Deck is expected to be one of the largest vessels on display at SCIBS 2013 which will be the first time the superyacht has been exhibited anywhere in the sunshine state.

Sanctuary Cove-based Horizon Motor Yachts Australia will join hundreds of exhibitors at the four day event to be staged at the spectacular Sanctuary Cove Marina and Marine Village from May 23 to 26.

EXCITEMENT is building among boating enthusiasts with tickets to the 25^th anniversary Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) set to go on sale next week.

Presale tickets to SCIBS 2013 will go on sale online to subscribers on Monday November 26 at 9am, with the public release to go on sale 9am Friday, November 30.

Running from May 23 to 26, next year’s event will showcase a raft of international boating brands, products and technologies on display alongside the superb backdrop of the award-winning Sanctuary Cove marina and The Marine Village.

GOLD COASTERS will be able to arrive by boat to the Isle of Capri’s latest retail and commercial hub, Capri on Via Roma, after a new $180,000 mini marina was recently installed at the prime waterfront location by local marina specialists Superior Jetties.
