Best Model Australia doubles the stakes

For the first time in the events history, 2 National Finalists will be crowned winners when Australia’s top models compete for 2 titles at the National Finals on Australia’s fabulous Gold Coast in June.

The 2 titles of Best Catwalk Model and Best Photographic Model make Best Model Australia 2011 accessible to all female models over the age of 18 throughout Australia and NZ.

In another first! FashionTV and Best Model Australia 2011 partner to make this the most sought after modelling event in Australia. FashionTV will be promoting the venue heats and the National Final, showcasing this event to the world.

Selected venues from across Australia and NZ are staging heats from March to June, with each venue choosing their representative to travel to the Gold Coast where they will compete in the Best Model Australia 2011 National Finals from 28 June through to 4 July.

The National Finals is a week long event that includes media events, functions, and of course, the envious job of judging the line-up of beautiful models. All finalists will be staying at the Towers of Chevron Renaissance in the heart of Surfers Paradise just a stone’s throw from golden beaches, unique shopping and vibrant nightlife.

Best Model Australia 2011 National Finalists will compete in three categories, Fashion-wear, Swimwear and Photographic judging to decide who will take home the titles of Best Catwalk Model and Best Photographic Model.

Each category will test the individual skills and qualities of the finalists as all contestants are uniquely required to contribute their own style and creativity to the process of staging the event as they strut the catwalk to their own choice of music, contemporary fashion, and captivating choreography, all supported by a professional event management team.

Best Model Australia 2011 is an amazing platform for aspiring young models to launch an exciting career in the Australian and International Modelling industries. All National Finalists will experience the fun and excitement of competing in this international event and having the opportunity to make life-long friends.

Winners of Best Model Australia 2011 will share in over $20,000 in cash and prizes including two overseas trips where our 2 best models will represent Australia at international competitions. Australia’s Best Model winners will also have modelling opportunities through participating sponsors and promotion though this event.
